the non-intrusive ultrasonic pig signaler, was developed for the detection of pigs in pipelines. It controls the passage of cleaning- and testing pigs in pipes for oil, liquid gases and water.
The advantage of this easy and reliable method is the outside coupling of the sensors at the pipes, so there is no wear. Furthermore, environmental risks due to dangerous holes in pipeline walls, as in systems with mechanical pig detectors, belong to the past.
The installation as well as the set up are easy and can be carried out during line operations. The sensors are certified after ATEX.
