Level measurement at fuel oil tanks compact - precise – inexpensive

 

Using the device SONOLEVEL 10 the distance between sensor and reflecting surface of oil can be determined contact less via ultra­sound. Therefore the sensor will be fixed in vertical position in a free connection piece.

The path length of sound waves mustn't be hindered
because of the geometry of the tank or pipes.

The measuring range is:

SONOLEVEL 10/5: 12 cm up to 250 cm
SONOLEVEL 10/7: 25 cm up to 500 cm.

The determined distance will be shown at the display
in "cm". The output of level and hold-up respectively in
litres is possible too.
SONOLEVEL 10 is conceived for stationary operating with 24 VDC and additional has a current output, displaying a current signal proportional to the level: 4 mA up to 20 mA.
