Description
Viscotaq® Coat Wrap ST is a unique approach to solving corrosion problems. Unlike tapes, Viscotaq is a sealing compound with 70 mil thickness applied from a roll.
Viscotaq® Coat Wrap ST:
Is easy to use and can be applied in almost any situation, including below- and above-grade structures and steel pipelines.
Remains flexible even after decades
Adheres to any dry surface, such as concrete, steel, pvc, piping, ducts, etc.
Is easy and safe to use. No primers, solvents or heating are required.
Is the latest viscous elastic coating, with unique features.
Works as a corrosion barrier, vapor barrier, water stop and encapsulation agent.

Installation
                 
Clean surface, preferably with a power brush, to SSPC-SP 2.
Degrease surface and remove loose dust with industrial alcohol.
Remove white release liner and apply adhesive part to the surface by wrapping under tension. Maintain minimum overlap of 10% or 0.5 inch.
Apply heavy duty 20 mil outer wrap for underground pipelines by wrapping under tension in the direction counter to Viscotaq Coat Wrap ST.
For soil-to-air transitions, wrap from below ground to above ground.
Product is ready for backfill immediately.
