The TY-ROV II easily interfaces with the ROV, but can also be held by divers. It serves as either a tip-contact or proximity-style probe, and if ROV operators want to avoid connection to the umbilical, the ROV interfaces with Deepwater's Deep C Meter, providing a self-contained, direct subsea readout, viewable on the ROV's video camera. Like all Polatrak CP probes, the ROV II is fully field-serviceable, with plug-in electrode elements and interchangeable components.
