Based on proprietary IC technology for storing charge from sampled waveforms then converting to Digital at slower speeds, the TDS 200 series dramatically reduced the cost of low end digitizing and created the 1st 1 GSa/s DSO.

 

Over the past 15 years a great deal of progress has been made in terms of electronic components performance and cost such that today it is possible to create outstanding DSO's with superior performance at lower prices than ever.
