Microtector II G450
Small, light and reliable
4-Gas detector
This robust 4-Gas detector measures up to 4 gases simultaneously: Oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO) and cumbustible gases (CH4). It was developed especially for personal protection against gas hazards and is carried at the working clothes. A large, coloured graphic display provides clear readings of all data. The display can be turned 180° by just pushing a button – this allows the display to be read easily even if the detector is carried at the belt. The zoom function allows an easy reading of single measuring values and shows additional information on the selected gas. Hands free for maximum safety. Innovative alarm system The Microtector II G450 provides audible, visual and vibration alarms for hazardous gases. The complete display changes its colour like a traffic light from green over orange to red and ensures a safe warning of exceeded alarm thresholds. The bright flashing LEDs provide additional safety. The extremely loud alarm gives warning even in noisy environments like engine rooms. Awarded functionality The Microtector II G450 is the first gas detector which got the well-known „red dot design award“. Red dot stands for high design quality as well as degree of innovation, durability, functionality and self explanatory quality. Designed for daily use The functional and watertight housing (IP67) in an impact proof rubberised enclosure meets all requirements for harsh environments. Depending on alarm frequency and alarm duration the operational time is up to 30 hours. Power supply is provided by either a rechargeable NiMH battery pack or Alkaline batteries. The advantages at a glance Small, light and reliable
For oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO) and combustible gases (CH4)
Innovative visual alarm system with colour change of display and bright flashing LED
Extremly loud alarm 103 dB(A) for optimal personal protection
Flip-flop display with zoom function
Long operational time up to 30 hours
Robust watertight housing (IP67)
Attachable motorized pump with its own independent power supply (optional)
Dockingstation for quick and easy bump test and adjustment, charging and documentation (optional)
Data logger (optional)
The loop data logger records gas concentrations and alarms over a period of up to 50 hours. This data can be transferred to a PC to be displayed and evaluated. The data logger has a storage capacity of 1800 measuring points per gas. Storing intervals and mode (average, peak, instantaneous values) are programmable individually. Attachable motorized pump (optional) Inaccessible areas, like tanks and containers, can contain lethal gas mixtures. With the G400-MP1 an attachable high-performance pump is available that can sample the gas from up to 100 metres away. The pump and tube is attached easily, and its own power supply does not affect the operational time of the instrument. Either a rechargeable NiMH battery pack or alkaline batteries are available. Power supply options Power supply is provided by either a rechargeable NiMH battery pack or Alkaline batteries. Depending on alarm frequency and alarm duration the operational time is up to 30 hours. A NiMH battery pack with Ex-proof LED allow a built in torch option. The NiMH batteries can be fully recharged in less than 4 hours with the drop-in charger (optional). Additional charging options are smart charger cap, dockingstation or vehicle charger. Carrying possibilities The light detector can be securely fastened at the user’s clothing with a durable crocodile clip. A belt clip is also available. The reversible display allows easy reading by the user. Comprehensive accessories Various options allow individual adaptation to personal requirements. A number of accessories make the Microtector II G450 a complete, useful instrument in everyday work with combustible and toxic gases. |
