The STX-PA Smart Gas Detector is a completely self-contained gas detector, suitable for a wide range of hazardous gases. It consists of a sensitive and specific electrochemical gas sensor and transmitter. This fully integrated system may be used as a stand-alone gas monitor, as well as a remote gas sensor in a centralized life-safety surveillance system.

The monitor features user-programmable dual-level concentration alarms, built-in alarm relays, and 4-20 mA output, local digital readout, and audio and visual alarm indicators. It utilizes a renewable type sensor, which requires a minimum of maintenance, and will last 5+ years under normal operating conditions.

This detector can be used to monitor gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes, process tools, laboratory fume hoods, dry and wet scrubbers, exhaust duct, and ambient indoor and outdoor environments.
