The DCEM2100 is a dual-pass transmissometer configured for the continuous measurement of opacity and dust concentration in flue gases. Its unique optical arrangement provides continuous measurements of transmissivity of visible light across the stack in opposite directions, providing not only an accurate average of the dust loading in the stack, but a dynamic assessment of any mis-alignment errors due to stack movement. The analyser is equipped with normalisation data inputs for temperature, pressure, oxygen and water vapour. It is designed as a stand-alone instrument and is suitable for use on all large combustion plant processes.
