The DCEM1001 Opacity Monitor is a single-pass optical device which uses visible light to measure the opacity and dust concentration within the flue gas. The monitor consists of a transmitter and receiver arrangement with digital data processing in a local display unit. The monitor can display data in either opacity, extinction or dust density in mg/m3 or normalised density in mg/Nm3. Designed as a stand-alone dust monitor the instrument is supplied with a power supply, signal processor and local display/keypad to generate the relay and current outputs. Suitable for use on small boilers, cremators and light industrial processes.
