advantages:
The sensors are mounted outside at the tank or pipe.
They have no contact with the product.
The ultrasonic measurement is harmless.
The distance between measuring point (sensor) and measuring station (transducer) can be up to 300m.
The analysing time of measurement is very short.
Also high pressure in the tank doesn't disturb.
An exact measurement is also possible with foaming at the liquid's surface.
There are no hygienic problems with the sensor.
The liquid can be toxic, corrosive and chemically aggressive, without any affection of measurement.
The sensors don't wear out.
The mounting requires only a low installation expenditure. Existing plants can be equipped
without interruption.
Borings at tanks and at pipelines are not necessary. There is no new welding and testing expenditure at existing pressure tanks.
The pipelines last able to pigs.
Measurements at great tanks and pipes with product specific range up to 15 m are possible.
Optional the sensors are permissible for
Hazard Areas.
