The RK-21 is an automatic sheet former used for the production of laboratory hand sheets in accordance to the Rapid Köthen method for measurement of the physical and/or optical properties of pulps.

This equipment became standard for the Q.C. (quality control) and for R&D (research and development) due to its sturdiness, precision, reliability and high degree of repeatability.

PLC controlled the RK-21 offers an easy interface to user. Its dialog messages and optic and audible alarms ensure fast, safe and reliable operation. Multi-function hydraulic circuit for the stock container fills and drains dilution at high speed, with the choice of operating with open loop according to o technical standards or with closed loop, whereas user can heat white water up to 60 C using built-in heating system to simulate in the laboratory the real sheet making conditions present on paper machines.

Pneumatic mixer, with integrated pressure regulator, in the stock container base ensures perfect mixing of the pulp suspension and homogenity of sheets. Two standard dryers enables production of up to 24 dry sheets per hour.

An elegant design combines a large polished stainless steel operating table, a welded steel structure and resistant plastic cover panels. All parts in contact with water and pulp are made of corrosion resistant materials.
