SONOMETER 11 K is designed for mobile level measurement and control at bigger tanks and tank wagons. It works without any contact to the medium through the tank wall and offers easy operation and independence of installed measuring instruments or sedentary plants (as e. g. balances).

The appliance is a self-contained unit and detects permanently the level of tank via contact of the sensor at its bottom. Therefore it is individual adjustable to the measuring task, e. g. optional display of level in millimetre, volume or percent. Besides 10 parameter blocks are possible to save and to call permanently. Also measurements of the limit level are possible at lateral position of the tank. For longer monitoring of level in tanks (e. g. mobile storage tanks, tank wagons) the appliance is in possession of current and switching outputs
(e. g. 0/4 ... 20 mA; limit value relay )

The measurement is really simple using our version for "tank wagon". This version is in possession of three preset parameter blocks, simply to select via key depression. So a fast and simple adjustment to different tanks and liquids is possible. This appliance is very successful when using as filling control of tank wagons with liquid gas and other liquid media, e.g. usage in federal department of railway.
