The Tinker & Rasor Model APS High Voltage Holiday Detector supplies 800V to 35 kV in one instrument with two ranges: high range of 3,500V to 35,000V, an low range of 800V to 8,000V. Typical applications are checking coatings on pipelines and other coated structures, tanks, concrete, sewers, and manholes.

Your choice of electrode , Choice of Electrodes:

Full Circle Spring Electrodes for any one pipe diameter from 2" to 36".

Half Circle Spring Electrode for any one pipe diameter from 2" to 8".

Silicone-Rubber Brush Electrode with one width between 2" and 8".

Other electrode sizes available at pro-rated cost.

The new carrying case (shown above) is included with the Model APS as well as other Tinker & Rasor high voltage holiday detectors, the Tinker & Rasor Model AP and Tinker & Rasor Model AP/W. It is made of lighter resin materials and is weather and dust sealed. Custom foam inserts keeps the instrument and all components safe and secure during shipping and handling. Inline wheels and padded handles make for easy mobility. Streamlined size makes it easy for storage on in a truck or shop. The latches are strong but easy to open, with a push-button lock on each. The case has molded lock catches for your own padlock or other locking mechanism.
