Vent Check IAQ 8494 air quality carbon dioxide and temperature monitor

The Vent Check handheld gas analyser measures ambient carbon dioxide (CO2) levels. It helps prove flueless gas appliances like space heaters, water heaters, kitchen and catering equipment operate safely. If faulty or inadequately ventilated, these appliances generate high levels of harmful carbon dioxide. Flueless appliances also have manufacturer’s recommended limits for ambient carbon dioxide levels.

The Vent Check IAQ 8494 also measures carbon dioxide and ambient temperatures for indoor air quality (IAQ) checks. Inadequate ventilation and poorly working appliances will increase CO2 levels causing drowsiness and condensation. The Vent Check meets the requirements of BS 8494 (portable apparatus designed to detect and measure carbon dioxide in ambient air or extraction systems).

The Vent Check measures carbon dioxide up to 9999ppm using a NDIR infra-red sensor making it ideal for domestic and commercial service engineers or IAQ specialists to confirm carbon dioxide levels in homes, offices, factories, schools, other public buildings and commercial kitchens.
