PureAire offers a simple, compact yet complete toxic gas monitoring system for chemical and petrochemical industries, with the TX-FM, FMD, and FN transmitter series.
These transmitters are CSA approved for intrinsic safety, for use in hazardous areas of Class 1, Division 2, Groups B, C & D, when connected with the intrinsically safe zener barrier. The sensor cell can be remote up to 10 feet from the transmitter for monitoring heavier-than-air gases, or for use in monitoring gas cabinets and fume hood exhaust ducts. The TX-FMD monitor can be connected to any PureAire controller, or standard PLC and SCADA control system.
The transmitter’s electronics are housed in polycarbonate NEMA 4X, IP 65 watertight, dust-tight, and corrosion-resistant housing. Designed for use in outdoor environments, PureAire toxic gas sensors, when used in combination with the TX-FMD, FM or FN transmitters, are gas-specific, stable and available for a wide range of gases.
The TX-FMD gas monitor has the lowest annual maintenance costs of any gas monitoring system on the market. PureAire’s Renewable sensor cells are easily recharged with electrolyte in the field at approximately 20% of the cost of disposable sensor cell type systems. Recharge costs typically run about $35 per sensor.
PureAire’s TX-FMD has been the standard for protecting workers in chemical companies, municipal waste treatment facilities, pharmaceutical plants and semiconductor wafer fabs.
