The model TX-KXP-D toxic and corrosive gas detector is designed specifically for hazardous areas. The TX-KXP-D monitoring system is useful for leak detection of toxic, corrosive and mineral acid gases in chemical plants, refineries and other locations where explosive or flammable gases may be present.
Available with digital display, here are some of the other advantages of the TX-KXP-D:
PureAire’s TX-KXP-D provides protection from corrosive and mineral acid ages in areas where flammable gases may also be present, through the use of an intrinsically safe barrier.
The TX-KXP-D monitoring system can be calibrated without opening the enclosure, therefore, eliminating the need for a hot permit.
PureAire cells are designed to operate even in 100% RH conditions, such as condensing vent streams. As a result, there’s no need for expensive extractive sampling systems.
PureAire’s sensor cells are not affected by rapid changes in temperature or humidity, and offer interference free monitoring outdoor on fence lines.
The TX-KXP’D monitoring system can be remote up to one mile from centralized control systems.
For installation versatility, the TX-KXP-D’s 4-20mA signal interfaces with any independent alarm, control or surveillance system, as well as PureAire’s dedicated controller.
PureAire renewable sensor cells are easily recharged with electrolyte, right in the field, at approximately 1/4 the cost of disposable sensor cell type systems. Recharge costs typically run about $35.00 per sensor, every 6 months.
