The Dräger PEX 3000 is an economic and reliable 4-20-mA transmitter for monitoring combustible gases and vapours in ambient air. The transmitter comprises a flameproof encapsulated 4-20-mA-converter with display and operating keys which is accessible after opening the transmitter (even in zone 1).

 

There is no additional handheld terminal or DVM necessary for the 1-man-calibration. The built-in sensors are still the proven catalytic bead DrägerSensors (100% and 10%LEL).

 

The Dräger PEX 3000 is approved for zone 1 and zone 2 applications as well as zone 21 and 22.

 

The Dräger PEX 3000 comes in two different housing versions. Also a transmitter to connect a remote sensor is available.

 

Very low concentrations in the range 0 - 10% LEL are detectable by the types XTR 0010 or XTR 0011.
