This mini UV Sterilisation Cabinet designed for limited bench space provides a working area for setting up PCR reactions in nucleic acid free environment limiting PCR contamination.
A low cost alternative to a clean room the powerful UV lights fitted in this cabinet denature nucleic acids in 5 to 30 minutes making them unsuitable for amplification.
Importantly this cabinet incorporates safety features to prevent personal exposure to UV light. The UV lights are timer controlled and safety switches are are fitted on access doors, turning the lights off when opened.
The cabinet is constructed from UV-C impermeable acrylic serving as an effective barrier against radioactive isotopes, allowing work in complete safety.
A broad white light provides good visibility in the working area. |
