Tisch Environmental, Inc. and Kimoto Electric have joined forces to introduce continuous air quality monitoring devices. Both companies have been producing instruments for measurement of air quality for over 50 years each. The UV absorption method ozone (O3) analyzer, Model : OA-683 is the most reliable continuous O3 monitor. This analyzer provides a high sensitive and stable measuring of ozone concentration in ambient air by the principle of ultraviolet absorption method. Computer controlled analyzing system with high resolution assures precise and stable measurement for a long period.

 

Principles:

Ozone has a strong absorption spectrum at the ultraviolet band (near 254nm) , so the ozone concentration is measured by the absorption photometry. Non dispersive ultraviolet ray is exposed to sample cell from Hg lamp. By the difference of ozone concentration, the absorbed light intencity differs. The ozone concentration is derived from Lambert-Beer's Law.
