New DHS55 Heat Spy is designed for accurate temperaturemeasurement of liquid metals in iron and steel foundries. TheDHS55 provides a fast and reliable reading in the extended range of1830° to 3270°F (1000° to 1800°C). Short wavelength operation(0.55μm) minimizes errors due to emissivity/atmospheric absorption.The New DHS56 Heat Spy is designed for accurate temperaturemeasurement in gas or oil fired furnaces in the range of840° to 2370°F (450° to 1300°C). Narrow spectral response centeredat 3.9 μm eliminates errors caused by absorption /emission bands present in combustion gases.
