level measurement from outside contact less via ultrasound through the wall

 

SONOMETER 05 is an ultrasonic level meter with following transducer to measure level and distance in liquids.

The measured level in the tank will be displayed continuous via current output 4...20 mA. The measuring range is to set in wide limits according to the application. The correct function will be monitored internal and can be polled via switched output. With the help of special probes also the measurement within acoustic difficult media is possible. The device will be delivered in rugged aluminium casing (protection IP 65) and is suitable for the usage in rude industrial environments.

 

The sensors will be mounted at the outside of tank.

There is no contact with the product.

The ultrasonic principle of measurement is harmless.

The analysis time of measurement is very short.

Also high pressure inside the tank doesn't disturb.

An exact measurement is also possible with production of foam at the surface of liquid.

There are no hygienic problems with the sensor.

It can be measured also in toxic, corrosive and aggressive media.

The sensors don't wear out.

The mounting only requires a low expenditure of installation. Existing plants can be equipped with the sensor without interruption of process.

Borings at tanks are not necessary. There isn't any new expenditure in testing or welding at existing pressure tanks.

Measurements at tanks with a range up to 15 m (depending on product) are possible.
