Special Wahl “diptip” Type K and S thermocouples aredesigned to measure molten metals and other high temperature processes. Optionaladapters allow you to use the sensor tips ofyour choice: For ferrous metals, Wahl, L&N,Electronite, or custom; for nonferrous metals,Wahl, Marshall, or custom. All systems feature the Maxi-Temp circuit thatholds and displays peak temperature reading,even if the expendable tips burn open. Systemaccuracy at molten metal temperatures with aWahl meter and probe is typically ±9°F with aType S thermocouple and ±11° with a Type K. |
