There are 2 ranges of hotplates, each with ceramic top surfaces and a maximum plate temperature of 450°C. The 1000 series are economic units that offer the performance required for even the most demanding applications. The units in the 1200 range offer greater accuracy in temperature control and the option of a PTR temperature probe for accurate sample temperature control. The 1200 units also have a larger plate area for larger sample volumes.
